Website Content
During my time as a Content Specialist with a consulting agency called Weiskopf Consulting, I produced entire website content for a real estate client looking to build his brand and team of agents.
While I did not select the website layout or design, I had flexibility to design the About Me page only. I imported content in Wordpress, and imported copy for the Buyer and Seller FAQ pages. For creating location listing descriptions, I researched each location and gathered facts to compile into a useful summary.
The most important part of my role was meeting the client to ask questions about his business and his story. What are your goals? How would you describe your voice? Who is your audience? After gathering research from the client's online presence and interviewing him, I had the information I needed to then craft content and/or import copy for each page: Home, Real Estate Pro, Careers with Lee, About Lee, and FAQ pages.
If I could go back in time... click here to see my own re-do!
I saw an opportunity for improvement in both copy and design.
UX Writing - Sample
I briefly worked with The Hire Solution in Chicago. I optimized content on the Available Jobs page where the agency displays current open positions.
Existing copy here: Open positions may vary, be sure to check back
The problem with the previous existing content on this page was its lack of clarity, voice and tone. I saw that there was a risk for the user to get confused, thus pulling them away from the website. To solve this small, yet important issue, I provided context and clarity, telling the user about what to expect, and giving them an action.

I researched topics and created blog posts from start to finish in Wordpress.

Worksheet for Free Training Workshops
I created a downloadable, promotional and educational worksheet that was included in a bi-weekly email campaign for Weiskopf Consulting. With their upcoming special demonstration, in addition to new free training workshops, we wanted to promote the events in a valuable way for the email subscribers. The worksheet serves as a bulleted outline for each training workshop. We wanted to create excitement and let the users know what topics to expect.
I researched past materials from the company's Dropbox and put together copy, revising as needed to add clarity.
Email Campaign - Sample
I wrote bi-weekly emails for Weiskopf Consulting. Each quarter had a main topic in regard to all things technical or social.
This email copy and call to action points the audience toward the blog post of the month.
Out of all the copy I have access to, research and written blog posts, I synthesize information and find what would be most compelling and valuable for the reader. Then I draft and rewrite until it's clear and as concise as possible.

Christina helped write content for my website, she has an amazing knack for taking some basic info and weaving it into a compelling story. My website not only looks great, but now it sounds great thanks to Christina's talented skills as a writer. She understands that content writing for a website needs to be succinct yet compelling and I feel she was able to make this connection on my website. I highly recommend Christina to help you take your next writing assignment to the next level.

I’m Jake, Founder & CEO of Renota, and I had an incredible experience working and collaborating with Christina Alexandru to enhance our website copy. Christina was exactly who we needed. She helped us understand the value of thoughtful language on our website and subsequently crafted clear and conversational copy for us to implement. Christina went above and beyond in truly understanding our business and our goals, enthusiastically refining her work to merge best practices in UX writing with our specific circumstances. Her communication, thoughtfulness, positivity, and flexibility made it an absolute pleasure working with her, all while she expertly rethought and reshaped how we engage with our audience. I cannot recommend Christina enough - anyone would be lucky to work with her.

Christina is the kind of communicator who puts up her antenna and tunes in. She looks, listens, asks questions, and listens again before acting. A genuine collaborator with a sharp intellect and deep empathy, Christina values others’ creativity, gets things done, knows how to set goals, and makes work feel like sheer pleasure.
